The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu provided erudition about Canal Istanbul at the tunnel opening ceremony on the Gebze-Darıca metro line in Kocaeli. “The main span of the bridge, which is 440 meters long, will be 860 meters in length with the 210 meters long side spans on the right and left, while the total length of the bridge will reach 1,618 meters with the approach viaducts. The bridge will serve the traffic as 2x4 lanes. The same people opposed the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge.
